The result gets summarized in a comprehensive written report. The valuations serve purposes such as a sale, a purchase, an inheritance or gift, financing, tax questions like imputed rental value, and legal matters such as a divorce or an expropriation.

The valuers work according to the Swiss Valuation Standards, are accredited for several banks, and appear on the roster of expert witnesses for the Zurich district courts.
