Bestag positions itself as a broker between owners and valuation professionals. For a residential property, two hedonic models, from IAZI and Wüest Partner, are combined with assessments from local agents, producing several independent figures side by side. Depending on the property type, the firm falls back on the real value, income value or residual value method, for example for rental properties, building land or development projects.

A free online estimate can be started directly on the website; beyond that, the hedonic valuation and detailed reports are also available. The valuations get used for a sale, a purchase, financing, an inheritance split or a divorce, among other things.
